Located only a few blocks away from Fudan University, FDIS students enjoy an enriching academic and cultural atmosphere. Our campus is nearthe local High School Affiliated to Fudan University, and thus has access to a superb laboratory, arts, athletic, and other facilities that our FDIS students can use.

Library

HSAFU has three reading rooms in the library with seating capacity of 400 students in an area of over 1000 square meters. The library, which won the title "Shanghai High School and Primary School Demonstration  Library", has a large collection of books and audiovisual materials. It is also an outreach branch of Shanghai’s National Library' information sharing center. FDIS has its own English language library and our students can also  access the library reading rooms at Fudan University.

Internet Access

Fudan International School provides Grade 11-12 students wireless access on campus for completing research and college applications. For our other grades, the library provides desktop computers for students to use. The Computer room at FDIS is only used for students’ computer classes.

Science

HSAFU has the following labs: English listening comprehension lab, TV studio, digital music studio, personal radio lab, electricity lab, college physics lab, college mechanics lab, college molecular biology lab, organism incubator, biological anatomy digital interactive lab, animal specimen lab, organic chemistry lab, inorganic chemistry lab and chemistry analysis lab 

The astronomical observatory covers an area of 135 square meters. Its advanced astronomical instruments, costing over 200,000 RMB, was ranked top among high schools in Shanghai. It is where young astronomy fans gain deeper knowledge, hands-on experience, and even make discoveries.

Athletics

HSAFU has a 400-meter standard track and natural grass soccer field. Facilities that students can use include: ping-pong room, weight room, gymnastics room and an indoor basketball & volleyball gym, and dance studios. FDIS provides a ping-pong room, soccer field, and basketball courts within its own campus.
