The materials that need to be submitted before the Application Deadline are as follows；
Complete Application Form
Copies of the applicant's passport information page AND visa page
Copies of the applicant's parents' passport information pages AND visa page
Six photos of passport size
Other required materials(such as: previous school recommendation letter, last year transcript etc.) must be submitted within the prescribed time limit
Applicants need to be informed the following issues:
Fudan International School can only help to do student visa only if the student’s age is 16 or above.
The 1000RMB Application Fee must be submitted on either the testing day or interview day and it’s non-refundable.
If there are no available spaces left at FDIS, students might be put on the waiting list and might be required to do a further test (such as English screening test, interview etc.)

Applying for Middle/High School
For students applying for Grade 6-9, Math, English and Chinese tests are required.
For students applying for Grade 10 and 11, Math, English, Chinese and Science (including Biology, Chemistry and Physics) are required;
For students applying for Grade 11 IB program, Math, English, Chinese are required; other subjects are required to be tested according to the IB course selection.
Students applying for Grade 12 are not acceptable.
Early Admission Period:
April 17- Application Deadline (for an application to be considered, all materials must be complete and submitted by this date)
April 21 - Admissions Testing Day (applicants will be notified within a few days of the Application Deadline if they must come to FDIS to complete any necessary placement and/or admissions tests on this date)
April 27– Early Admission Decision Distribution Date (decisions distributed via email or phone)
Regular Admission Period (1):
May 22- Application Deadline (for an application to be considered, all materials must be complete and submitted by this date)
May 26 - Admissions Testing Day (applicants will be notified within a few days of the Application Deadline if they must come to FDIS to complete any necessary placement and/or admissions tests on this date)
June 1 – Regular Admission Decision Distribution Date (decisions distributed via email or phone)

July 31 - Application Deadline (for an application to be considered, all materials must be complete and submitted by this date)
August 4 - Admissions Testing Day (applicants will be notified within a few days of the Application Deadline if they must come to FDIS to complete any necessary placement and/or admissions tests on this date)
August 10 - Late Admission Decision Distribution Date (decisions distributed via email or phone)
Applying for Elementary School
Interview Date: Every Thursday Start: 9:00am

Elementary School applicants must have an interview before admitted, no written test. All applicants must submit complete application forms four days in advance before the interview day.
Grade Distribution
For applying for Middle/High School, decisions will be sent out via e-mail or phone on the Decision Distribution Dates as listed above. For applying for Elementary School, decisions will be made on the interview day. Certain applicants may be accepted under a conditional or monitored basis, the terms of which will be written in the acceptance letter. Accepted applicants are required to matriculate within two weeks of the Decision Distribution Dates.
