Ann Coletta Doyle is currently in her fifth year of living and working in China. She is pleased to be working at FIS and is honored to have the opportunity to teach the first grade to be established at Fudan. Ann comes to Fudan with rich experience well honed in America, Europe and China. She was a European History major in under graduate. She discovered the Montessori method in her senior year and followed her nose and heart into the American establishment of Montessori Schools. Ann trained in primary curriculum with the American Montessori Society and then took her Masters in the Art of Teaching with Association Montessori Internationale which includes the elementary philosophy and curriculum. Ann has worked with people from all corners of the earth in developing The Secret of Childhood. And along the way, she captured some of the secret herself. She hopes to contribute her knowledge and experience in curriculum to Fudan International School. How? To grow and learn with FIS first graders! |
