Rajesh Kripalani has been a full-time professional educator since 1996, with training and experience in teaching English, History, Theory of Knowledge and Creativity, Action, Service (CAS) of various examinations / curriculum systems – including the Cambridge IGCSE, GCE O-Level, IBMYP and IBDP – at top-end schools in India and an IB World School in Jakarta, Indonesia. At his last school, he was the IBDP CAS Coordinator for 5 years. He brings to his teaching his rich curriculum experience as well as his amateur dabbling in film, television and theatre (as writer, actor and director), music (choral and instrumental) and creative writing (verse). He holds a BA Honours degree in English Literature (Calcutta University) as well as a Bachelor of Education degree in English and History (Delhi University). His education philosophy is driven by his strong belief in internationalism in schools, capacity building in colleagues and lifelong learning in students; he has earned an Advanced Certificate from the University of Leicester, UK where is also currently reading for a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. |
