High School Graduation Requirements and Procedures
In order to graduate from FDIS, a student must meet the graduation requirements outlined below. These requirements are meant to serve merely as a minimum standard. Students interested in attending college should strive to meet the credit requirements in the right-hand column below.

1. In Math, students must complete a course equivalent to Algebra II.
2. In Science, one credit is required in each of the following topics: biology, chemistry, and physics.
3. In Social Studies, one credit of history and one credit of Economics are required.
4. For Chinese, if non-native Chinese speakers can show proficiency by completing Upper Intermediate Chinese, Chinese via AP test (grades 4 or 5) or HSK intermediate level, s/he will be exempt from continuing on Chinese language course. For native Chinese speakers, they need to take at least 2 years Chinese course in High school.
5. All students must satisfy the school’s CAS requirement.
6. All students must satisfy the school’s attendance requirement.
7. For some special cases , the decision will be made by Dean of Academics and the Director .
