Dear Parents, Happy New Year!
The FIS students will have their semester exams next week and the last school day of this semester for them is Thursday 15th of January and they are allowed to leave school at 3:10 PM. The school bus will leave at 3:30 PM next Thursday. And the boarding students can stay in the dorms on Thursday night but they must leave the dorms before 6:00 PM Friday 16th of January.
Then the Spring Festival Holiday starts. You will receive your children’s semester grades and comments by mail during the holiday. Your children will have some homework to do in the holiday and I hope with your encouragement they will do a great job.
The first school day of next semester for the students is Wednesday 4th of February. Please make sure that your children will be back to Shanghai before Wednesday. The school bus service starts from Wednesday and the boarding students should come into the dorms before 9:00 PM Tuesday 3rd of February. Dear parents, you must write a letter to tell the reasons to homeroom teachers or FIS office if your children can not come to school on the first day of school. FIS fax number is 86-21-65107760.
