Dear Fudan International School parents and students,

Welcome to the 2011-12 school year at FDIS! Below please find the schedule and important information for our Orientation Day, Wednesday, 8/31. We look forward to meeting you!

8:30 a.m.
All students are to arrive at FDIS’s new school, 325 Guoquan Rd., and proceed to their homeroom (homeroom name list will be posted in the first floor) where they will meet their teachers, get student handbook, homework book and exercise book, review schedules and classroom rules, and get acquainted. Homeroom teachers will escort students to the High School Affiliated with Fudan University’s assembly hall, 383 Guoquan Rd.
9:30-10:30
Principal Mr. Zheng and Director Mr. Chang will offer a welcome and a brief presentation on the new school year. Faculty will be introduced by department, and Kay, Paul and Ave will speak on academics, student affairs, and sports.
 
Please note:
    School bus starts to run regularly in the morning on August 31, school will inform students who take school bus the exact pick-up slot and time in advance. On August 31, school dismisses at 12:00, school bus departs FDIS at 12:00 to return students to their homes.
    FDIS' dining facilities will not be open until 9/1. Students should plan for their breakfast and lunch on 8/31.

Special notice for boarders:
FDIS' move-in date is Tuesday, 8/30, from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Parents, please note that the FDIS dining hall will not be open until Thursday, 9/1. Students should be prepared to eat locally until then at the many convenient restaurants nearby.
